Boulder Hotel/Motel and Visitor Information

Orientation does not make specific lodging recommendations.  You can receive information on local lodging and other useful visitor information by calling the Boulder Convention and Visitor’s Bureau at 303-442-2911 or visiting www.bouldercoloradousa.com.  Local lodging accommodations can fill quickly during residence hall move-in weeks.  We recommend making your reservations early.

Ground Transportation from Denver International Airport (DIA)

Ground transportation can be arranged from DIA to Boulder through:

  • Regional Transportation District (www.rtd-denver.com or 1-800-366-7433) Skyride bus route AB is the public transportation system between DIA and the downtown Boulder bus terminal. Stops are made along Broadway (the street that forms the western boundary of the campus). Upon arriving in downtown Boulder, local bus or taxi service can help you reach your final destination. For RTD Route AB schedule information, go to "Schedules" then "Bus" then "Skyride" then "AB".
  • SuperShuttle (www.supershuttle.com or 1-800-525-3177) offers direct service to the following Boulder hotels: Broker Inn, Millennium Hotel, Boulder Marriott, and Hotel Boulderado. There are also SuperShuttle stops on demand on the CU-Boulder campus at Kittedge Commons, Sewall Hall, and the University Club. You may make a specific drop-off location request of the shuttle driver. Reservations required.

Discounted Rides to/from Boulder Campus for CU Affiliates with Disabilities

Disability Services, the ADA Coordinator’s Office, Housing & Dining Services, the Dean of Student’s Office, and Parking & Transportation Services partnered with Via Mobility Services to pilot a program that provides more access to campus to CU students, faculty, and staff with disabilities or temporary injuries that affect mobility.  Information about costs and how to schedule a ride can be found at http://www.colorado.edu/pts/ada-accessible-parking/discounted-rides-disabilities.

Orientation Parking Options (Download map here)

Parking is available at on-campus meters and at the Euclid AutoPark adjacent to the UMC on a space-available basis. The Office of Orientation sells event passes for Euclid AutoPark at a discounted rate. These will be sold at orientation headquarters. You may park and then buy your event pass any time after 9:00 a.m..

Free parking is available in the RG Zone in Lots 436/494 on the southeast corner of Colorado Avenue and Regent Drive.  There is a 15-20 minute walk to orientation check in from this location.  Print and display the parking permit you downloaded in your planning guide on your dashboard and DO NOT park outside the permitted lot, which could result in a ticket.
