Orientation does not make specific lodging recommendations. You can receive information on local lodging and other useful visitor information by calling the Boulder Convention and Visitor’s Bureau at 303-442-2911 or visiting www.bouldercoloradousa.com. Local lodging accommodations can fill quickly during residence hall move-in weeks. We recommend making your reservations early.
Ground transportation can be arranged from DIA to Boulder through:
Disability Services, the ADA Coordinator’s Office, Housing & Dining Services, the Dean of Student’s Office, and Parking & Transportation Services partnered with Via Mobility Services to pilot a program that provides more access to campus to CU students, faculty, and staff with disabilities or temporary injuries that affect mobility. Parking is available at on-campus meters and at the Euclid AutoPark adjacent to the UMC on a space-available basis. The Office of Orientation sells event passes for Euclid AutoPark at a discounted rate. These will be sold at orientation headquarters. You may park and then buy your event pass any time after 9:00 a.m..
Free parking is available in the RG Zone in Lots 436/494 on the southeast corner of Colorado Avenue and Regent Drive. There is a 15-20 minute walk to orientation check in from this location. Print and display the parking permit you downloaded in your planning guide on your dashboard and DO NOT park outside the permitted lot, which could result in a ticket.
Persons requiring disability accommodations should contact the Office of Orientation at least two weeks prior to attendance at orientation.
